Description

Conflicts are great!

They are. For several reasons. I will leave you with my top 5

First, it means we are indeed different which not only is a confirmation for the geneticists but mainly because it’s a relief. Can you imagine yourself in a clone’s world?

Second, it means you don’t know it all, and you can learn new things from different perspectives on the same topic. Isn’t that wonderful?

Third, it means you are engaging with others around you. If you’re in a conflict you are for sure voicing your ideas and willing for others to attend to them.

Fourth, it means you are somehow willing to save the relationship, or the project, or something. Otherwise, you would just walk away and do whatever you very much feel like to, disregarding your opponent.

Five, it means you’re entering a very nutritious moment. The things you can learn about yourself (the way you feel, think, and communicate), about the others (the way they feel, think, and communicate), and about the world are immense!

Do you agree? Yes? Great! Do you have more reasons to add? Let’s talk about them.

You don’t? Also great! Because we can also talk about it and learn from each other.

And if you (as I do, sometimes) miss those days when you could just smack someone on the face and everything was ok, then we really need to talk about it!
